The Patio Plaza

For this project, we were asked to create a unique and fun visual identity for a retail center that was being updated in Mission Hills. This process all started with thoughtful design. After understanding the clients goals, we designed a comprehensive branding package that honored the clients brand while introducing a series of unique, new elements that add both character and personality to the space. 

This update included

A full roof mounted pole sign refresh with vibrantly printed inserts. A stunning series of custom designed and fabricated dimensional metal wall panels that cover the entire building facade. Each tenant received a custom, intricately detailed double sided lit hanging sign. All of these updates were complimented by a striking frontage sign for Mission Hills Florist featuring a hand painted floral element and dimensional acrylic letters. 

Material Highlights

• Custom poly-carbonate lit roof sign inserts w/ digitally printed and UV laminated vinyl graphics.

• 1/4" thick, water jetted aluminum wall panels w/ powder coated gloss black finish offset from wall for dramatic effect.

• Double sided LED lit hanging signs for each tenant. featuring an all aluminum frame w/ powder coated gloss black finish, translucent white acrylic inserts, and laser cut dimensional "artichoke" element with digitally printed vinyl graphics.

• Frontage sign was done with a hand painted flower element for the background with a dimensional, custom painted laser cut acrylic icon and text elements.
